I died in my dream the other night.

Not like a normal death though. It's hard to explain. i remember having a choice and i decided to take the choice where part of me died.

I remember seeing stars and feeling small. Like i saw the whole universe through i small pin-point and feeling so incredible.

I think it was a dream of feeling like i lost part of something, rather then the physical me. (ala depression).

    It was quiet surreal.

I had a dream once. A friend was kidnapped in a green Tardis by a hot teacher,
I then tripped and had my pants fall down, then I asked a friend to accompany
me to the toilet and she ran into the wall, then another friend came to help her
then another friend came drunk (Im hardly 13!) with a box for a hat and then I
searched for my crush and fell down a fake hole with him and his girlfriend watched
us fall. The hole was fake 'cause you thought you were falling but it was really
just the ground painted as a hole, but everybody! thought it real.

Lol, I need to lay off something don't I?

I had a dream that I was in the middle of the London Blitz. WARNING: VERY VIVID!!

Father kept insisting we'd make nightly runs toward whatever supply store we could find.

So, one night, while the Germans and the British fought it out overhead, we ran like hell across the deserted streets. I could hear my loud footsteps on the road.

"Keep up the pace, lad!" my Father yelled.

    "I'm trying!"

I had insisted that I'd remain behind as I was the weakest of the family, but predictably he refused to listen. As a consequence, he'd slow his pace so I could keep up.

Just before 10:10 pm struck on Big Ben, Father entered the store. Before I could enter, a bright flashing light expoded in front of my eyes followed by a roar impossible to describe. I felt no pain, no sensation. All I knew was that I was lying on the road, on my back, blinded and dying. With the last ounce of my strength, I forced my lips to move.

"F-Foolish little boy..." I cursed to myself, "This is all your fault!"

    With that, I lost consiousness.

When I woke up, I was in tears! I don't know what made me dream this! I wasn't even studying World War II! Thankfully, I woke up before my dream took me from the London Blitz to Auschwitz.

Wow...Not that I wish to experience what you went through, but I do wish I could dream history. All I dream is nonsense. Nothing as specific and detailed as your dream - nightmare.

This will be kind of vague.

I dreamed that I was King Leonidas from 300 and I was in a classroom with other war generals. We were talking about something and I think I was trying to seduce a thick female one and she pinned me to the ground. I should've written this earlier as I had forgot most of it now, but somehow me and the others turned into students and the teacher was my 9th grade English teacher. He had put on a projector, was talking and I made an excuse to leave the room I think it was that I had to use the bathroom.

I walked out onto a massive room/corridor. The floors were wooden and shiny. There were large wooden columns and the ceiling was high, but all I could see was white light. Somehow I was being chased out of the school and I was on the run. I found myself downtown in another city trying to find out what to do and where to go. I had recalled the time I was walking to the mall from another dream I had months ago. I had came across an old classmate of mine that I don't believe I've seen since my Middle School days. He was standing on a rust colored walkway to a building a few feet above me and I had talked to him. The conversation somehow lead to me asking if I could use his phone to call my mother. I'm getting an image of a funny shaped black cell phone in my mind, but I can't remember if I had used it or even touched it. He seemed to be in a bad mood and I walked off. I was walking along a parking lot where a hill of grass leading up to two more gray buildings when I was holding a blue notepad in front of my face. It had a drawing of the face of one of those old telephones where you put your finger in the whole and had to dial by rotating the thing on it. I touched the numbers for my mother's work number and I put the piece of paper to my ear. I could hear her in a few seconds, but barely and I had put down the paper frustrated. I walked along the path and had came to another parking lot that was in a secluded area. There were about a hundred people or more there. a lot were lining up to a table where a fat man was serving food. Someone was crawling on the table with mustard on his chin.

I was walking through the crowd and I had found out to my own horror that it was a party thrown by the students at my school. I tried to remain a low profile, but I was soon recognized by someone. The scene sort of turned into a lame stereotypical high school drama scene that's always shown on TV and that lead to me being chased. I think there was some history between these people and me though I can't remember it.

Last night i dreamt my teeth fell out.

I remember looking down at my hand, cupped up under my bottom lip as it caught shards of teeth. The odd thing wasn't so much that the teeth were falling out - it was that they seemed to simply fall apart in my mouth - almost as if the teeth were created in two halfs and then simply pressed together lightly over my gums.

They were rotten, eroded and yellowing with black holes like they had been buried in the earth for some time.

I remember the mouth sensation - a bunch of loose jagged rocks crunching against each other - and then viewing the inside of my mouth as though from the front and inside at the same time. An impossible perspective.

^Have your sleeping schedules changed? Are you going to bed later or earlier? When I choose to stay up late, I find that most of my dreams vanish the minute I wake up.

I usually go to bed around the same time...idk if it's just the way I sleep or if I'm not getting enough REM sleep or what...

Last night I had a dream that involved me walking through the streets in Japan. As I did, I notice two extremely old men walk towards eachother, using their canes to keep themselves up. All of a sudden they started sparring with each other using their canes. That is when I woke up, and I was extremely happy all day haha.

    Hey!
    You have lucid dreams !?
I was living on a mountain for the past 2 months of my life and only then and there did I experience this myself. It happened twice, both times after staying awake looking at Dali paintings by candle light.

I havent been able to re-do it since. I think i am afraid of it. It feels like when it happened I felt like a guest in my minds own world. And did not know how to behave. I felt almost anxious that if I changed too many things, I'd actually be changing elements of my mind and wake up with an altered personality.

Do you have any tips or can you tell me alittle bit about your lucid dreaming experience? I am very interested in the matter and thought I must write you.

Anyone ever have one of those really weird, scary, or just...odd dreams that kind of unsettle you for the rest of the day?

I had one of those this morning. It's a weird feeling, that I don't like at all.

I had a dream last night that I was in my accounting class when they called me to the office. I went up to the office to see my mom standing there, obviously crying, and Mr. Oliver, the SRO Officer, had to tell me that my dad had died.

This is a relatively common dream for me, it comes from having a deployed soldier for a dad, but it still scared me.

Today, I had just come back to accounting class from lunch when they called me to the office. I was almost crying by the time I got to the office. The secretary needed me to take something to the middle school (where I work) for her that afternoon.

    Scariest. Moment. Ever.

I've been having vivid dreams lately. They seem like more than dreams. I definitely know what the outer influences are, and I can remember the dreams in amazing detail for most of the day.

I'm hoping that one of these dreams will just create a story to fall right into my lap. So far they've been mildly interesting and I'm working on them... Wonder if this is how Lewis Carroll got his start; my dreams are very much like Wonderland, with a Hollywood action-adventure twist.

Two nights ago a goblin prince and I were on the run from the FBI serial killer division; last night I walked across telephone lines like they were tightropes and volunteered for a one-day space shuttle program.

I can only recall one nightmare where my mother died. Well, she was murdered actually, by my cousin. It was pretty graphic and horrifying.
Basically I could hear him dragging her body down the hallway and when I went to check it out I could see where her head had been bashed in and her chest ripped open.
And my cousins eyes were missing.
    Not fun.
Sorry for the gruesome details but it completely chilled me to the bone.
Didn't sleep the rest of the night and was shaking pretty bad. You'd think I'd cut down on the horror films after that.

I'm sorry that freaked you out so much Em! I'd have the same reaction.

Merc - please tell me the goblin prince was the spawn of Jareth and Sarah with David Bowie's singing voice... ;)

Hmm... I remember i had a very weird dream a couple nights ago. I had just finished playing LOZ: twilight princess for the night and got into bed. 3+ hours later, i had a dream about me being some sort of heroic Link and no one but my friend, Joey (who i havent seen since like... idk) knew. even i didnt know! so then, a shadow-being (look the game up, because i dont feel like explaining) showed up out of nowhere, and started attacking him. well, naturally, i was freaking out and more and more kept showing up, and you know- he's screaming at me to do something and im screaming back that idk wht to do... yeah, all that. then, i transform into wolf me, and this really hot guy (who i guess was to be the midna of this dream) dropped onto my back like midna does in the game and i create this black ccircle of energy around (again, like the game) and defeat all of them but one, who screeches to bring the other million back to life, so i do it all over..... blah blah blah.... i learn my true identity.... blah blah.... more blahs.... and the the hot midna dude goes back to the Twilit realm, everyones happy, we visit each other, joey dies an old man, me and Chris (the hot midna dude) live on, crossing between realms... blah blah blah.... happily ever after.... blah blah blah blah

I was hopped up on painkillers last night, and I think that explains the doozy of a dream I had. My husband and I bought this giant midieval castle. It was missing some windows, the roof leaked, and it took every last penny we had to buy it. We thought it was worth going broke over. At some point during the dream, it starts snowing and the wind is going crazy. A stained glass window blew out and I start running through the courtyard, trying to find a place to wait out the storm. But I keep falling as I run, my eyes are streaming water, and I can't find my way back to the 'warm' part of this heap. Then as I stop to get my bearings, I look up, and the bell from the tower (yes, our castle had a bell tower) broke free and was hurling toward me. I woke up just before it smashed me to bits.

    A few Dreams I Had

    A Family Breaking Apart

Okay, this dream was very odd, and I do not think I have never said, thought of, or done anything in reality to have a dream like this, but my parents did have several conflicts between each other.

I fell asleep on my living room couch because I got tired or something, then I had this dream:

I was gone into my father’s room only to find out that he and my mother were in a major conflict, a conflict that would end their marriage. Therefore, my mom left the room because of the madness, but I did not know where she was going. Therefore, I asked my father what was going on. He said nothing. Instead, he asked me to do “something” (if you know what I meant by that) with him, and I was surprised to hear him say that. I thought he was joking. I said “No.” Then he said, “Do it!” I refused and left the room. When I left the room, I saw my mom in the kitchen. I forgot what she was doing, so I cut her off on whatever she was doing and told her what happened. She fainted, and then ran out the house.

I went in to his room again and said, “What were you thinking? Now, mom is gone again.” He then got angrier and said, “I’m going to kill you!” Next thing you know, he grabbed me, then I somehow broke out of his arms, ran out of the room and stopped in the hallway. I forgot what I was doing in the hallway. Later, my father went outside and brought out a gas tank full of gas. He came into to the hallway where I was standing. He then splashed the gas all over me. Then, I was like “What the hell?” I now noticed that he actually tried to kill me after he splashed the gas all on me. He was then looking for a lighter so that he would light me up. I guess he tried to kill me by erupting fuel explosion on me. While he was looking, I quickly ran into the bathroom to take a shower, washing all the gas spills off me. Then, after I finished my shower, I went into my brother’s room and saw that he was on the phone talking to his friend. I told him what was going on, but he said, “Hold on Reggie, I am talking,” or whatever. I was like “Eddie, call 911! Dad is trying to kill me!” Then he was laughing “with” me, thinking that this was a joke, so he continued on talking to his friend.

While I was in the room, I saw that the window was open. I was hoping that my father was not outside or anything. Therefore, I clearly searched the house and hoped that he did not see me. I did not see him anywhere. Therefore, I went back into the room, jumped out the window and woke up.

I had a dream that I did not like one bit and made me wake up kind of crying. I don't think I've ever dreamt the death of someone close, with added weirdness in the dream, which makes it all the worse because I'm feeling guilty and thinking 'why on earth did I dream that?!' I hope I don't get any more dreams like this.

Oi! I know people from Romania and they're good folks! :D

I dreamt about Skyrim last night. I was walking down a wooded path with an Argonian and Imperial. We were chatting about something I can't remember. Anyway, they looked rather odd. They were very blurry, nearly blotches. I could tell I needed some kind of eyewear desperately. I was pratically blind and I suspect I was holding onto the Argonian's elbow with my left hand.

Maybe I was dreaming they were taking me to an alchemist to fix my vision? :]

Anyway, I woke up wishing I had the game already.

    Elder Scrolls IV was amazing.

That could flesh out into a story, btw!
