You should search on google images for 'primer timelines'. It won't help you understand it any better, but it will at least make you feel better about not understanding it completely.

It first was raining... then hailing... then snowing- but it's not freezing so it'll be gone soon. :(

After writing in my personal journal, I got to thinking: "Would it be cool if I put this in a folder, stashed it somewhere, and decades...a century later someone finds it again?"

Well, I would hope they'd treat those journals with respect. If I ever found a collection of journals stashed away somewhere and it was clear that they were from a long time ago (Early 1900s downwards), I'd put them up nice and neatly on a shelf and by chronological order.

But its funny how most movies depict journals being written in the 1800s. Was nobody writing journals in the 1700s??

Aww... My snow is melting now too. It's hovering around freezing but the sun is out and melting everything. :(

My snow is not melting. It is 1 degree here.

I was outside my car for maybe all of four minutes getting gas, about two hours ago. I had on two pairs of socks and winter boots. Since then, I have been inside heated cars and heated buildings, so logically I should be warm by now. However, it feels like my toes will never be warm again.

Why is it that women have the coldest feet? It's the weirdest thing, and you always forget about it if your a guy until you get frozen by one of their feet.

Hi everyone... I decided to check this place out again... What are we all doing this Friday evening (for most of us, anyway?). I'm outlining my next fanfiction novel.

Drinking Sam Adams and writing the next parody for my blog. =) This time, I'm parodying Macbeth. At the part where Macbeth returns to his wife after the big battle in the beginning.

I will be enjoying the warmth of a fireplace and probably wrapping some presents. Anyone else?

Friday.. that's Christmas Eve. I will probably be sat in front of the TV, with a nice fire hopefully, watching films and Christmas specials, although I need to check what's on then.

I boarded my cats at the local clinic over the weekend when I visited family. I had a feeling there would be some problems with it but I thought I was just being paranoid. Sadly I was not.

One of my cats was very happy to see me and has been overly friendly. She has decided, however, that my other cat is now the devil and growls and hisses whenever she comes near. They used to play all the time so I hope she gets over it. Both of them came back sneezing rather excessively, too. The hissy cat more than the other. I hope she didn't pick up a respiratory infection while she was there!

:( I don't know if I'll want to board them again now...

Sorry if I've missed some announcement or conversation, but is there a reason why cogito hasn't been around in a few weeks? Hmmm.

@ Ann-Maybe the hissy cat is angry at the other cat for whatever happened? They can be strange critters, those felines.

@ Merc-Good question. I wager Cogito's busy with family stuff, helping put Christmas decorations and tree away, enjoying his new presents. He probably trusts folks like Wrey to ensure the fourms don't spiral out of control when he's not around.

I'm sure it's nothing major. If something happened to Cogito, we would've known. How? He'd ensure a mod informed us of what happened.

He's just enjoying X-mas like the rest of us, spending time with his family, etc.

He will be, as you say, Link. Though it isn't like him to just go offline for a while.

Anyway, happy New Year, everyone! May the collection of days arbitrarily labeled 2011 for the purposes of easier book-keeping for everyone be highly satisfactory.

I'm new here and just wanted to say happy new year everybody.
Any of you making any new years resolutions.
