I think that's how it works...that people are either good with one or the other. Or so it seems when people discuss math. I eventually passed Algebra II with LOTS of help...

I'm sure there are people that are good with both, but they must be few and far between.

I find it funny that it works out that way.

I have the best Keedy. She's so wonderful to me. I was making up stories and scenarios today and she asked a question that really kinda screwed up my fantasy. So, mostly jokingly, I told her "Well today don't screw up any of my fantasies. It makes moving easier." So we spent most of the day planning out my fantasies. Just kinda screwing around.

I came up with my most outlandish one yet. A plot to get me to meet Elton John (I LOVE Elton John. I think he's amazing.) and everyone I've mentioned it to thinks it's crazy. But she's been right there with me planning today. I asked her why she didn't shoot it down when she knew how improbable it was and she said "Because you told me to indulge in all your fantasies today." It made me cry because that had been hours ago.

I'm just.. happy to have her.

Great news that the surgery went well. :)

    Woo, well done!

Tay: It is/was your (and Tess'?) birthday? Happy birthday! :D

Emily: Aw that sounds like fun, glad you've got such a great friend. :)

For sure! :) I wont get my test back for a week or so, but I think I did pretty well. The unknown slides were easily justifiable (even if they may not actually be accurate of the artist), and the comparison essays were easy. I think I missed one of the ten slide identifications. I think I mixed up my Madonna and Child Enthroned portraits, and I totally forgot the year. /sigh

Art history isn't as much a passion for me as much as I know it is for you, but I do like it. I've always enjoyed art, and if I cant create my own very well, I can at least appreciate it. What I like more is how the subject matter overlaps with my major classes. I'm a bio and Spanish major, and although bio stays pretty much in a place of it's own, an essay I'm writing for a Spanish course is on Islamic influence in Spanish art and architecture, and as I've been gathering sources, I'm noticing how much of an influence the Moorish reign had on the Northern Renaissance! :) Too cool. I love it when courses overlap like this. I think being able to take knowledge from separate courses and combining them to understand more is when real education takes place...

And to be on topic, I'm happy because this essay wont be as hard to write as I thought it was going to be. I'm just babbling on and on, and it's working out reasonably well.

I'm even happier because I woke up at 3:47AM this morning with a sort of deep understanding. I wrote it all out, and Aaron, maybe you'll like this, because I know you said you enjoyed Buddy Wakefield's poetry, I applied my thoughts to one of my favorite quotes of his ("Forgiveness is the release of all hope for a better past") and came away feeling better about a lot of things.

Yayyyy for being at peace. It feels liberating and satisfying and happy.

    Conflict pleases me.

Pacifism is a pretentious philosophy anyways.

To kill some time before a class I have to take today, I played guitar and sang in the skywalk for about an hour.

Not even a busy hour and I got $30 dollars in tips!
I didn't really care about the money though, I just wanted to play guitar. :)

    Can i have $30?

I don't really want the money, but i just want to bug you.

    So, can i have $30, USD. ;)

Seriously though, that's awesome. I always tip people who do a good job at whatever they are doing.

This chick was singing, killing me softly. I said to her, I'll give you $100 if you go away and stop killing one of my favourite songs ever.

She laughed and i kept my $100.

I know, I mean, who would be sooo obnoxious as to promote pacifism in a place like, say.... Rwanda or Darfur. Conflict is so this season.

Tickets to London and back for under £40! That's less than half what I expected to pay.

Hotel's still more expensive than the average mortgage, but that's London.

Cool that you found something cheaper. :)

Okay, so, my grandparents are insisting on buying us a new car- more specifically, so all of us kids can get a driving license with a car that's not crap. It's almost sure that it's going to be this car:

Yeah, the girls are in the majority in my family. ;) (though I must admit that my dad and brother also liked the color, so yeah)

I am happy because today is Dan and my 2 year anniversary! YAY! I'd post some soppy love stuff up, but I already did that on FB and don't think my poor stomach could handle anymore soppy love stuff in one day. I think I'd end up spending the rest of the day vomiting! lol! Love you hunny! ;-)

I'm happy because today is my little brother's birthday, and Keedy's birthday party. So to celebrate Keedy's birthday (we celebrated my brother's last week), we're going to stuff ourselves full with chinese food and then go dance the night away! And then watch Edward Scissorhands. :D

My sissie, my hunny and our best friend are coming to see my show tonight. :) Only people I know so far who have actually made any effort to see this show. It is only 37.7 miles from home.
