Successfully stayed up through most of the night. It's almost 5 AM, and I'm still not tired. Have to leave in a little while for school. Going in early to work on my research project. I just got ready. Did my hair and make-up (not a frequent occurrence anymore since I'm still tired from mommy duty), and man... I look HOT! Ha, ha. Maybe I'll start taking a little "me time" to get ready in the morning. :)

Dude... I just read this! Lol. I'm taking the vitamin C, and haven't had Taco Bell since that one day. Hope you're proud! Ha, ha. And yes, I'm cool. Cool people always do it right. ;P

Bay, how on earth do you fit uni in with being a mum? Some of my friends have babies and they just couldn't do it all.

Time management, drive to get the career I want for myself and my family, and the fact that my son's daddy takes care of him when I need a break to get things done. And I love school! :)

I am close to graduation. While I don't have a job, I am glad to be close to finishing school, so that I would have more time to find a job and present my bachelor's degree to potental employers willing to offer me a job position. :)

Good for you! I have sooooo much school left. 3 more years for my bachelor's degree, then 4 years of dental school after that. I'd have less, but I took time going to school for dental assisting and to have my son. I'm envious! I wish I were that close to being done! Ha, ha.

700 words of my dissertation done. Tudor section, finished. Time for a coffee and a bit of fiction writing.

And then tonight I can do a couple of hundred words on my domestic violence essay. Joy.

My brother just sent me a text message asking if we would be down for Christmas. I was like wow, really, already thinking about Christmas? He replied "well, I just figured you might like to be down here eight or nine months from now." So I said that hopefully, yeah, we'd be there for Christmas. Then he says, "aw, you missed my hint. The month doesn't matter, more that it's going to be eight or nine months from now."

Oh my god, my sister-in-law is pregnant! :D:D I'm excited.

Thanks! It'll be their second kiddo, I'm so excited for them. Also, this means my mom will get her grandbaby fix again, which takes the pressure off me and Joel. ;)

    Aw, congrats! :)

I'm also happy because I got my WKCE (Wisconsin Knowledge Concepts Examination, the state's standardized test) scores back, and I scored proficient in math (my worst subject, and I did pretty well, I think), and advanced in reading, language arts, science and social studies. :D

The state percentile rankings for my scores are pretty good too. According to our system, for example, if you score at the 75th percentile, it means you were in the top 25% of all students tested. I was in the 57th percentile for math (top 43%), 93rd percentile for reading (top 7%), 91st percentile for language arts (top 9%), 94th prcentile for science (top 6%) and 96th percentile for social studies (top 4%). I'm very proud of myself. :D

Congratulations! Great results! Funny how you could do so well in Science when your Math score is your lowest. I think people generally overestimate the usefulness of math. I've always been naturally very good at math, but it's never come in handy except that it makes me a good bartender. Sounds like you'll go far.

    Thanks! :D

Yeah, my science grade surprised me too, since science and math are so closely related and also because science has never been my best subject, but I was pleasantly surprised. :p Thank you!

    Congratulations, Gi, that's great! :D

Dude, there's something in the air, I guess. I was leaving for derby practice and got a text from my cousin...his wife is pregnant, too! If I didn't sound like a man, I would be squealing like a girl right now. :D :D
