I haven't seen the latest Toy Story, so I don't know what it is, but it's cute! Happy birthday. :D

That's the coolest invite I've ever seen. Can't wait to get mine!

Haha, I laughed. Watch my neighbor totoro when you have kid, H, or watch it now...so sweet, so whimsical :) Not scary at all....

I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid. *sings* "Totoro, totoro! Totoro, totoro!" I love all of Miyazaki's movies, actually. Can't really pick a favorite. I loved Totoro (obviously), Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, and I liked Castle in the Sky. Oh, and Howl's Moving Castle. Princess Mononoke was good too (pretty dark, though). Pretty much all of them. Ha, ha.

And omg! I want to ride in the cat bus! That would kick ass! Yeah... I'm a nerd.

Ponyo was kind of a dud, but maybe I'm just too cynical for it nowadays...

I got the full collection - just love Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Porco Rosso, Monoke, Naussica, Laputa, Howls Moving Castle, Pom Poko, Spirited Away, Whisper of the Heart, Cat Returns. Ponyo is cute but it the one my kids watch the least they are most likely to go for Kiki, Cat Returns, Totoro or Pom Poko. Not sure if they are all Miyazaki - I know the Yamadas aren't which my daughter loves I can't stand.

I think Whisper of the Heart, Kiki and Howl's Moving Castle (I know it is nothing like the book but I love the film) are my favourite. Naussica and Laputa as well.

    What a fan! :)

I still have not watched the Yamadas, so it will be put on the queue. Have you seen Tales from Earthsea? It was directed by Miyazaki jr, and all in all it was a good standalone adventure film, some disjointed story spots, and loose ends.

I mean no offense to Sir John Franklin, okay?

EDIT: Merde! The dialogue's too small. Basically, Ghosty is saying this:

"Hey, have you seen my body anywhere? It should be yea high and shivering like a madman! Really, Captain, who's bloody idea was it to appoint you to lead this thing? You've pratically led us like a blind drunk right into the absolute worst possible situation a man can be in!

But I hope you're happy, Captain. I really do..."

    Very cool Link.

Here's a pic of all 25 mini wii remote cakes I have made for my son to take to school tomorrow for his birthday. He's 7 tomorrow and loves gaming, so figured wii remote were a perfect cake. Also going to make another cake for home, but will do that one tomorrow. I really enjoyed making the cakes, and while they don't look the best, hopefully the kids will like them. :) Surprising how heavy they are.

This picture was taken about three years ago. Three years ago I hated it and hated the way I looked in it and hated, well, myself in general.

Today I looked at the picture again and I smiled at it and I loved it. And I love knowing that I'm different now and that I don't see myself the way I used to and that I actually like who I am.

And I felt like sharing this with you guys.

Everything about that picture is awesome, except for the fact that you're in a kayak and not a canoe. Kayaks scare me. :p

I fail super hard at "working with people" and "teamwork" and "synchronized ______________" thus canoes were a no-go for Emily. Plus, I would've been in a canoe with my sister and we would've just ended up beating each other up with our paddles.

^ Em, you're awesome. I always loved that friendly, fun way about you. I think that picture totally sums up those aspects of your personality. I'm glad you like it now! ^_-

Oh my god. I *love* it! You make me want to wear dresses. In fact, we're going to the mall today, and I might actually get a dress for Easter. Just so that I can wear it some random day and make people go  "EMILY?!!"

Aw thank you all :D I never ever wear dresses, so this was a real surprise. I'm also in love with cutesie styles like that, which I never thought I could get away with...But it was my birthday, so I thought "what the hell!"

Perhaps we're turning over new leaves Emily!
