Grrr. I don't finish until 7th June. Not sure why I'm so eager for it, since I haven't a clue what I'm going to do once I've finished uni.

But I hope you're enjoying your summery freedom, Link.

What will your subcutaneous ink depict?

    - The Chinese character for "Tiger"?
    - A butterfly?
    - A dragon tribal?
    - A sun?
    - A moon?
    - A heart?
    - My avatar!?
    - Your true form, that no human will ever be able to sense?
    - The meaning of life in a language only the tattoo artist remembers?
    - An entelechy?

Your avatar, of course! :p Nah, I'm getting a phoenix with music notes in the flames. And the best part is that the person doing it is a sponsor for my derby league, so I should hopefully be getting a free one-hour sitting. Woohoo!

I'm going to have Joel take a picture when he gets home. :) Hopefully the swelling has gone down by then, because my back is kind of puffy and red right now...

Oh, it hurt like hell. But I'm very proud of myself, no tears at all. When I got the tiny sun on my ankle, I'm ashamed to admit that I cried a little. Right on the bone...kinda hurt. This one was on my back, between my shoulder blades, and it was pretty painful, but I just went to my happy place and let the artist do his thing. :D He did a great job, too, I love it.

    Post number 300! Woot!
This is the first time I've ever stuck around a forum long enough to get to 300 posts. I'm so proud of myself, and thank you WF and all its members for being such an awesome forum :)

I joined a few years ago on the recommendation of TheHedgehog, who I met on another forum. I never thought I would love it here so much, and stick around this long. :)

Why thank you, we are pretty awesome. :p

Seriously, though, I feel the same way. When I first started on this forum last year, I was barely writing. But now my confidence has grown to where I can write everyday and feel quite accomplished.

You're brave (or maybe I'm a wuss :p). Glad it went well.

Woo, I know the feeling. I tend to hop from one forum to another, and even if I register I don't stick around long. This forum is obviously the exception, and clearly superior to all other forums. ;)

    How modest. :p

Hopefully I can see the Beach Boys this summer when they come to the fair again. They were the first concert I ever went to, and they were AMAZING. :D

I was supposed to see Chris Cornell last month, but he postponed the show til new year's eve. I am seriously obsessed with these guys! The beach boys played our county fair a few years back, too!
My first "show" was Mest (lol) but Pearl Jam was my first concert. It was superb!

    ^ Have fun, love. ;)

Tomorrow is Saturday, so I will be sleeping in latelatelate. I spent the evening with my housemate watching crime-cop shows, making muffins, and stringing together the kandi that I broke. The temperature is finally cooling down (last week, it was around 50-60 degrees; then all this week it jumped to 85!) to a perfect 65-75 degrees this weekend. I'm going to the Farmer's Market tomorrow to play with the puppies from the animal shelter, and today I had a very successful grocery trip. (I AM SO OLD. I cant believe I'm happy about groceries...)

Sometimes you gotta force yourself to be happy. :) I am; it's been nice to just relax today...

Had ramen noodles in an authentic ramen noodle restaurant rather than from my authentic kitchen cupboard with a strawberry bubble tea followed by a milkshake, unhealthy, but soooo good =D happy day
Edit: and now I have a bottle of Mateus Rosé all to myself XD yay! I think my hangover at work tomorrow will be in the bad things thread though o.o...
