That's good to hear, Gi. :)

I don't know what's going on with my thumb, but when I woke up this morning it felt like it had dislocated itself again. What the hell?? I must be punching Joel in my sleep or something...

Evening all. Hopefully I'm cheered up a bit after yesterday. And I've decided to go back to the worm as my avatar.

um...ever had those moments when you realize that your narrator/main protag might be the wrong one? Cause it just happened to me.

In my Sci-fi story, the protag was Helen Chert, and the secondary character was John Torrington.

Well, I wrote a brief scene with John as the protag and...I really, really enjoy it. I mean, I still love dear Helen, but now I'm thinking of having John be the protag and Helen is the secondary character.

I learn something new every day.

Aw, not easy to cheer up when something like that happens, but I hope you feel happier. I've decided I'm probably going to be single for the rest of my life and that if I do, there are loads of fun stuff I can do.

And I remember your avatar! Reminds me of the good old days when I joined (I think that was then, right?). About two years ago...

It's fun being single, but you have no one to cuddle :(

Lydia, you seem a little young to have decided you're going to be single for the rest of your life. :p

Just because you are single doesn't mean you have no one to cuddle with. In fact, it may mean you have more than one cuddle choice.

Umm... no comment on my years before settling down and going to uni. Believe me, I wouldn't go back.

Hugs a plenty, but little love. (Just to clear up any potential inferences which may be drawn from the first statement).

Been up since 2:30 am this morning.

I'm surprised I'm still functional at all.

Aye, get theesen a few hours just so you'll be fully functional again. It works wonders.

    Sleep? What's that?

Has anyone ever tried a polyphasic sleep pattern?

I passed out last night at like 7:30 and woke up at 4am then went back to sleep until 7:40 got up and went horse back riding. Now I'm killing time before work.

Yeah, I know... I guess I'm not really serious about that, but you never know. ;)

My feet ache, and I feel like I've walked all across the village. But it's been fairly successful. Quite a number of people said they'd vote for me! :D

Well, I've just written a good first-half of the second/third chapter (decided to start in the middle just because) where Amos first meets the Parrish. I think I might post it up for critique because I'm not certain how I should work it out.

Spent an hour playing 5-a-side football. An hour! My legs have dissolved to jelly. Driving back was nightmarish (and slow). Did score twice (up to 31 goals for the season), both on the right foot. But it does look like the Panthers are going to re-form, so regular football on Sundays for the first time in 2 years.

But now, it's over. Therefore: pub.

I feel like the only person who didn't watch that game...

It's raining!! It kept raining in Vegas but not in Henderson (which is bogus, because they're so ridiculously close to each other), and then my friend Dolce came over last night and brought her rain making magic with her. :) Stormy weather, my fave.
