I like comedy, drama, and mystery and suspense. Those genres are good for me. I don't often watch science fiction movies.
I do love fantasy, but in the past two years I've become increasenly reading Sci fi and even love stories kinda. Ever since I've read the hunger games I've been hungry for futuristic novels.
Designer, Leather and Wheeled Laptop Bags, Laptop Case General genre are so intrusting. Leather Laptop Bag, Designer Laptop Bags
I love fantasy so much, hah. Something about suspending reality makes me happy. A romance intertwined makes me have a subplot to squee over. Yes, I squee. Out loud though, unlike most people.
I think it's odd that the genre's I read most, I write the least. I tend to stick to literary or mainstream fiction, with crime and thrillers mixed in, but my writing tends to focus more on science fiction/alternate history/steampunk styles.
Fantasy (some times science fiction). It gives me a chance to visit another world, another realm. I then come back and live in reality back on Earth. Well, only until my next read.
Fantasy and mystery. I can't choose between the two Fantasies are a wonderful escape and it's a lot of fun to see what writers can come up with when it comes to creating new worlds. Mysteries are fun because I'm an avid 'guesser' and I like trying to figure out the ending for myself along the way.
It's hard to pick between fantasy and horror. I love it when a story can pull off a good blend of both.
I love reading Historical fiction, like Sharpe, Uthred novels, King arthur (if that counts, i'd like to think so). Theres that Napoleon series thats a really good read. Peaceweaver, Forest Dwellers are amazing to read (Unpublished works by Judith Arnopp)
I love science fiction, I guess more of the "soft" kind, stories with more of a sociological angle; adventure stories and non-fiction; Russian fiction and Latin American fiction, more of the magical realism stuff; and non-fiction, mostly to do with evolutionary biology and ancient history.
I'm a sci-fi guy. A mix of soft and hard. I don't mind the soft stuff, but the hard sci-fi intrigues me because it's based on some truth. I wish this were a multiple choice form, though, because I'm into humour and the occassional (very occassional) espionage, though my brain isn't built for political stuff, so sometimes I can't understand the tensions and situations in all that spy stuff. And horror is cool, too.
Transgressive fiction, almost exclusively. I'm not proud of purism; it's just the only genre that really does it for me. I'd like to enjoy the classics, but they're all such squares.
