Oh it will be whenever it cools down enough to put the icing and chocolate syrup on it! I'll totally post the pic up when it is.
It does! And me and my mom and younger brother and sister went clothes shopping today. Spent $606 on all of us, but with all the discounts we got (since my grandma works at the store we shopped at) we saved $1,175! Plus I have really cute clothes now too, so.
^ Wow You're lucky your grandma works there! It always puts a smile on your face when you save money I went shopping yesterday! got some really cute clothes as well! Anddd I had to get the remainder of my school supplies.. *Fun* This weekend went by too fast.. Back to school again tomorrow. but hey I got through last week's school week. Just 170 some more school days left!
^ Good luck Jayy! I just came up with the most awesome novel plot EVER for once I finish the project I'm already on now. I'm probably going to finish my current book (the one where Adalyn is the MC) in mid-September, and do revisions in October, so I'll write my new book idea for NaNoWriMo. I'm soooooooo excited......
^ Awesomeness!! I'm just creating a deep inner-conflict for John Torrington (Helen Chert's love interest and secondary protagonist). It's fun to explore the inner workings of your character's mind.
Finished reading the Martian Chronicles today (for the second time). That book is awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome. Yup.
Is bursting with happiness and joy! So I have to share with you all the reason. I am now BACK in colorguard! 3 and I Made all a's on my mechanics class tests! So excited for what this year has in store for me Update: In the midst of my happiness I forgot to mention that I also do not have to take pre- ap biology and I'm NOT going to!
finally got back into a writing spree after a couple of days. My goal is still 60k by the end of the month (it's realistic for my pace) and I can't wait to have it finished! I'm fleshing out the 2nd book idea in my head for after I finish this one.
I got a message from a girl that I was going to write a story for (based on her art and characters) and she LOVED my story ideas and timeline. Makes me so happy!
I delivered my final oral Spanish presentation this morning. It was a big presentation --it was a little over 15 minutes in length and worth 10% of my final grade. I feel really proud of myself. It went extremely well. I will be extremely surprised if I don't earn an A. A few classmates even came up to me after class saying that my presentation was really, really great, and "wow, how much did you rehearse?" Truth is, I had begun constructing my visual aids on Sunday, and I started working my speech last night around 6PM. I only actually rehearsed what I was going to say once last night and once this morning, opting to ad-lib rather than memorize a 15-minute presentation, which was, after all, the intention. And I wasn't even that nervous! I think that is a huge testament to my writing and communication skills, because the topic of my presentation is actually a really difficult thing to explain to someone who is unfamiliar with it. I was somewhat worried about if and how the class would comprehend my material, but everyone said they got my points loud and clear. That was my final assignment for this course (which was a course designed to improve composition and conversational skills in Spanish), and I feel a great sense of relief and pride. I haven't gotten the official grades back on my final paper or today's final oral presentation, but before the finals, I had a 97% in the class. I feel like my oral skills, which is something I've always been self-conscious about (my grammar and my accent), have improved significantly. Now if only I can be as successful with my final biology exam on Thursday morning, and I will be home-free on vacation, kicking off with a large electronic music festival, for just over two weeks!
