Yes. Because you and your geography teacher showed poor judgment, it should be made illegal for everyone. I don't think so. And I don't think it can be made illegal. As may well be shown with this law, making it illegal is unconstitutional.
That's like saying that if a teacher and student hooked up while on a class trip to D.C., then class trips to D.C. should be illegal. I agree wholeheartedly with Steerpike.
