Human instincts is different to animal instinct.
    We formalise/speak our instincts.
Animals'instinct is surival first and foremost.
I am not saying animals are not intelligent or that they do not have feelings far from it.
But there a major dinstinction between a human instinct and an animal one.
Our instinct is to understand our environement, other humans and make sense of both and how they fit.
Animals instinct is entirely devoted to their environment and their survival.

Human INSTINCT and animal INSTINCT are the exact same. You're talking about drives and reflexes. http://webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/beh.html

Intuitive, yup. How much I use it depends on how must I trust me at that moment.
I also tend to avoid saying the first thing that comes to my mind, it generally is true. And most of it is not good. I have what we call a "kaali jubaan" or a black tongue. Maybe things were supposed to happen that way. But every time things go wrong after I said something, I feel more guilty than ever to I put up a wall against those thoughts.
I also read tarot cards, have a passing knowledge of numerology, and am an adequate palmist. However I generally advise people to avoid getting their palms read since the palm loses it's charm. And I avoid reading any myself, because of the said "kaali jubaan".
But despite having had many proofs for the above, science student that I am, I still can't bring myself to trust me when it comes to intuition.
I guess most of the above makes no sense. Doesn't to me either most of the time.

I always say what first come to mind as a general rule.
I never contrive or deprive myslef from saying or doing what I think is right.
I do not believe in superstitions and therefore go about my own business free minded.
Intuition is instinct and I cannot possibly say I do not trust myself because I do.
I would not be if I did not.

Intuition is all that truely exists. All reality consists of your amount of belief in any given thing. 'Are you intuitive?', can be likened to asking, are you a person of faith? Many people, decieved, assume, they are not, they have evolved into reasonable and rational beings who rely on deduction and logic to solve their everyday problems. Ultimately, in our truest of hearts, we are faithful people. We may not profess belief in "The Father, Son and Holy Ghost", but instead we believe in such things like, "I will live tomorrow, the sun will rise, this is a teapot, I exist." When you ask to see me tomorrow, I will say, "ofcourse, exactly at 7pm." My response is one of faith, it supposes that I will not die before 7pm, or that you will not die, or that the cars on the highway will not suddenly stop running, or that I don't find out that you've been stealing from me. All reality, even science, is based on intuition. The scientific method is based on intutition. Deduction, that is simply another way of saying, 'nearly undeniable intuition'.

So yes, I would say, I am intuitive.

huh?... that makes no sense, sorry to say... what are you trying to ask?...

do you think something that poster said is 'blasphemy'?

keep in mind that not all of us believe in any god or religion... that is our right, as thinking, 'sentient' beings... just as it is your right to believe so, if you do...

Intuition... yes I'd say I'm intuitive as to peoples intentions when I meet them, however words confuse me and I'm often wrapped up in my own little world. If you mean premonitions then no, if anything I'm premonition retardant as I'm often the last to know anything has happened. This has led to me being fished out from in front of cars a number of times...

    .
    How do you mean?

Premonitions are linked to instincts you could say that but I am more into your first reaction/gut feeling type of things.

Quite simply put I don't know hat's going on around me, intuition is based off an awareness of what's going on and an instinctive reaction. Premonitions are the ability to tell the future, usually from picking up on these instinctive clues. Things like hearing a car and stopping before your brain has processed the noise. I often fail to process events around me and thus step into traffic, prompting my friends to drag me onto the pavement so I don't get hit by a passing car.
