Thanks, everyone. I'm trying to write my vows now. Procrastination? I think so. I know for a fact that he hasn't written his either, though. Haha.
I have my window open because it's so warm outside. I love winter more than any other season, but having a really warm and sunny day is something I still welcome. It's the simple things in life.
Surfing the Internet for cheap inner tubes. I'm moving to an apartment closer to my job that has several HUGE pools.
Inner tubes? Screw them. Get some SCUBA gear and go treasure diving in your pools! Bring up long-lost treasure, impress your new neighbors, sell your story to the movies, and coast into a comfy, celebrity retirement! (You did say these pools are HUGE, didn't you? Spanish treasure galleons may have sunk in them and nobody would know!)
Bayleigh and I got married today. It was a modest wedding, but it was nice to read our vows and hear the officiant pronounce us husband and wife. I'm sure our families will insist on a more traditional ceremony, but she is already my wife and I'm very happy about that.
Thanks everyone. So happy to be with him and to be his wife. We got married on the same day (a year later) we exchanged MSN info (which is where we did the majority of our getting to know each other), so go figure that! So happy I happened to stumble upon his poem. On another good note, I just made the best snickerdoodles in the world!
Heres something to be happy about, it's 5 in the morning I got 3 classes in 3 hours i just topped off an entire bottle of 151 after not drinking for a year. After being faithful to this girl through 2 western pacific deployments, 3 middle eastern deployments and a shit load of time eveeywhere between I guess someone else does not see the same way I do. for quite a long set of yeyeatrs she has been the light at the end of the tunnel for mr while I was running around swamps and deserts for no damn reason. Now that I am out of the Navy, don't got the boys to fall back on and its just me by my self I get hit with this ton of bricks. Cheers mates here's to good times.
You don't need an excuse for chocolate. That should be in the Not Happy Thread... Sorry that's happened, that really sucks. ;( As for me, I've applied for three jobs (which I'm highly unlikely to get) and edited three chapters of my novel. I feel so productive. And this is for me considering I've been struggling with doing anything, let alone that amount of work. I guess now I should start on the essay that's due tomorrow which I've been avoiding... On the plus, after tomorrow I have no deadlines until after Easter, woo!
^ Whoooot! You should write your novel during that spare time. Treat it like a sabbatical. Minstrel, I loved your hidden treasure comment.
I submitted a manuscript to an agency yesterday and I've checked my inbox about a million times already, hoping for a reply.
Fingers crossed Ashleigh! Hope you'll have a reply soon. It's spring! There's sunshine and it's warm, and I have a ukulele! Also, just one more week of school till Easter holidays! (even though it's packed with assignments and such, still better than nothing)
EXALTATIONS!!! I have recieved my Mid-term grade from my Islamic Civilization class: 96!!! I was expecting to get a 70 or something, but I GOT A 96!!! This was the class I thought would be the toughest class yet, but now I think I've got a good handle on it. 8D
