I was reading, actually, re-reading Paulo Coelho's Brida. Very difficult book; but commendable translation. Which, I must say is very different from the translation of The Alchemist.

Good plot, and good writeup. Albeit the fact that there are holes.

About to read Born Wicked or The Body Finder. Not sure which I should read first, they both sound good.

I've been meaning to read The Hunger Games for quite some time- I feel like I don't do the author justice if I see the movie before reading the book, but unfortunately(?) I'm stuck reading The Great Gatsby for my English course. It's kind of hard to enjoy a masterpiece when I have the pressure of wanting to read another book before a movie comes out... C'est la vie, as the French say.

Currently reading THE RETURN OF THE NATIVE by Thomas Hardy.

A brilliant piece of art, if you ask me.

Started reading the most recent novel from Paolo Coelho, but got so annoyed by his speeches and constant lecturing that I actually put it away. Now I'm reading Martha Quest by Doris Lessing.

I read her Sharp Objects in the 9th grade & I've loved her ever since. I sincerely think she's my favorite author of all time.

The Politics by Aristotle. Honestly, this is one of the best books I've read. It's amazing - anyone interested in political philosophy and human nature should make this mandatory reading.

Currently reading A Game of Thrones. It's okay so far, but I'm looking to see more here. I do want to finish it, though.

I'm still reading Dostoyevsky's crime and punishment...Bit boring in places if I'm honest. As Brendan Gleeson said in The Guard: He takes too long gettin to the feckin point

Giving Storm Front by Jim Butcher a go. It's not great, to say the least.

Having finished all the books I had with me, I asked my flatmate to borrow one. She gave me Jasper Fforde's 'The Eyre Affair', which so far is very enjoyable.

Just finished another book this week, and so many options! I get so dorky when it comes to picking out a new book. :D I think I'm going to go with Michio Kaku's "Physics of the Future."
