That's half of it The other half of the chiseling was a Lampshade Hanging of the tendency of playable characters to survive ridiculous things for the sake of plot (Merridew's the one who says it). I'm also pretty paranoid with my writing and found Simon's survival improbable myself.
Sounds good! I'll probably be retiring for the evening soon, though I'll be writing bright and early tomorrow! Captain Tal, depending on your attitude, may be willing to answer some of your questions then!
I think we all got away with a few creative liberties! After all, every member of the NCF PC cast did manage to survive an onslaught of 24 hyper-fighters with very little damage. But, I do love the sneaky jab!
Alright! posts up, and with that I will be going. @LtW: Hope it's okay I used Jarnar in my post. It seemed appropriate. If not, I'll chance him out!
"Tell me, was it all a lie? The idea that new hope was a paradise, was it all false hope?" Ha I just realised what I did there. That was a deeeeeep line, and I didn't even do it intentionally.
I can't wait for the missions program I'm ashamed to say I'm interested if Simon managed to hit any of those hyper-jets, despite it not being important enough to be worth addressing (unless Tal's hatred for the NCF is increased by some of his best pilots being killed). I feel selfish...
lol I'm the one hogging all of sea dogs posts, sea dog tomomrow I'll be busy most of the day, feel free to leave Kate and focus on the others while I'm gone.
There you have it! To be fair, Simon worked hard for those kills. It wouldn't be right if we just gleaned over his achievements!
I wrote brief character templates for my Judicators! Kerys Andine Age: 29 Race: Human Class: Judicator (Crowd Control) Kerys' primary trait is that she controls the area she is fighting in. This is mainly done through the use of grenades and traps she sets up with wires. She likes to take a further approach to combat, scanning the territory, calculating and commanding what needs to be done from afar. Weapons: Judicator Bastard Sword, Standard issue Erisian Protecorate Handgun, Knife, SMG, Smoke grenades, Incendiaries, Frag Grenades, Flash Grenades, Titanium-laced tripwire Riley Cormac Age: 34 Race: Human Class: Judicator (Commander) Riley is the Judicator Commander. He prefers to be on the front lines, and has the densest armour of all four. He takes command on the field. Weapons: Judicator Bastard Sword, Standard issue Erisian Protectorate Handgun, Knife, Riot Shield Danyl Reco Age: 23 Race: Human Class: Judicator (Stormer) Danyl is trigger happy and reckless. He acts more on instinct than thought, but is a damn good killer. He makes use of everyone else's distractions to execute his feats in battle. Weapons: Judicator Bastard Sword, Standard issue Erisian Protectorate Handgun, Knife, Machete, Frag Grenades, Automatic Rail gun Arun is the least armed of all four, but his main purpose in the team is to act as an electronic disabler.
I don't think there's a character sheet, but he was described in-game. He's captain of the Sundew and is a half-giant. Big guy, twelve feet tall, with a booming voice. He disobeyed a direct order to stay out of the conflict and sent fighters to save us.
I laughed at the title of Anony's new post, although the lack of a truck that have started to move was disappointing.
Anony is right, he has no character sheet; yet. If he persists through the story line, I will make him one!
Thank you very much! We'll see if anyone's laughing when I'm done. I'm really looking forward to this. Depending on which way the wind blows, Indira will either attempt one hell of a heist or try to enter into "talks" with the Rebel leadership about a possible alliance. I don't think Black Death and the Rebellion will ever see eye to eye, but she might have something they want. Either way, things are going to get very interesting...
I wonder if the Exterminist PCs will be teamed up with Arun for the missions. That would be... tense.
If someone wants to find Redd (particularly NCF), that would probably be best. XD She just survived a plane crash by some miraculous reason but... I don't think she can do much getting up and walking away.. still open for ideas... PM me? >.> <.< ?
Okay. MissAnndroid: D: That was incredibly intense. I am really looking forward to seeing how her shockingly abusive childhood is manifested as an adult. Anony: I'm looking forward to either option, especially to see under what conditions the rebels could "win" your temporary alliance. I'll be writing the command introductions now, posting them shortly. I will do the rebels first. If someone is feeling creative, they can write a post in which the NCF member PCs return to the HQ (more or less at once), and then I will introduce the command structure. Once we gracefully get this out of the way, then we can move on to... the missions. I'm glad to hear you're all excited about it; I know I am!
