13 ways of looking at a blackbird?

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by methsoup, Sep 10, 2018.

Ive been trying to write about my experience of going to a Red Robin Gourmet Burgers restaurant, in the format of "13 ways of looking at a blackbird". its very difficult as im just starting to write more. But here is what i have so far, if anyone could please help, revise, advice, or anything please. Thank you
I just need one creative sentence that doesnt use very basic wording of the 5 senses.

-Caffeinated heart hiccups bursting through my veins as I gulp a fizzy drink

-Gut busting endless crisps with a side of caffeinated booming heartbeats

-Fiery sizzling smells and fizzy bubbles awaken my senses

I would start by reading analysis of "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird". There are a few structural and linguistic quirks of this poem and emulating the style will require you to understand its structure.
