Sorry for making a post so soon after the the other, but could anyone recommend me a book that explains the different writing techniques, such a second and first person and others which might exist? I think I need to work on my foundation.

Thanks, but that's not very helpful. I need to familiarise myself with writing techniques, I don't know the term, but such things as First or Second person, Omniputense... I guess the writing perspective? The link you gave is too broad.
