I've now been here for a little over a month. So far I'm really impressed with this community. I became active really fast, posted many questions I've had for a while, and even received a lot of help from the members here. So I'm taking the time to say thank you. Thank you, everyone, for your help, I look forward to staying and participating in the forums. I finally became not so anonymous and posted my name and state up along with a link to my DeviantArt account. I feel comfortable in this community and feel I shouldn't hide behind a screen name. I usually like anonymity on forums but if I'm becoming an active member already, I feel that just doesn't do anyone any favors. Hi, my name is Cecily and I'm from Utah. I like drawing, sewing, fashion design, costume design, prop making, writing, and arts and crafts. I'm a nervous artist due to past problems, so naturally, I'm a nervous writer. Please forgive me as I'm still overcoming the sting of art theft from my past. In time I hope I can share some of my writing on here and collect beta readers.
Sorry to hear about your past with art theft. But welcome. I am pretty new myself. Or at least I feel new. It's great I think that you feel you can open up and submit your deviant art page.
