Hi everyone! I’m a young writer hoping to make some new friends and improve my writing. You can call me User, Usernamer, or any nickname within those boundaries you can think of. Or Percy. That’s not my real name but it makes a lot more sense than having people call me “username”. I’ve never really been on a forum like this before, so all of this is pretty alien to me at the moment. This is also my first time reaching out to people outside of my circle. I’m passionate about writing but I haven’t met many people who feel the same way (aside from a couple my age). I’m here to put myself out there, so hopefully I’m able to hold myself to that! I mostly write fantasy/sci-fi fantasy, but I’ve reached out into horror and comedy a couple times. I was inspired by many indie creators when I was younger and that sparked my passion for storytelling. Video games like Undertale, Hollow Knight, and Night in the Woods, were (and still are) very important to me and my life growing up. I was also inspired by plenty of works in animation like Gravity Falls, Epithet Erased, and Arcane. Of course, all of these don’t begin to cover the sheer amount of media I aspire to live up to as a creator. (I didn’t even mention Transformers comics!) I’d be ecstatic to talk for hours about any one of these things, be it their impact on me or their own rhetoric and storytelling techniques. All of that being said, I’m happy to be here! Welcome to .org Mr Username. Love the enthusiasm coming across in your intro! It is daunting branching out of your circle, I remember it very clearly and glad to have you here. That feeling though, the apprehension and fear of not knowing, doesn't really subside, that is what I found anyway. You will learn to adapt to it, make friends along the way who can help with your writing as you gleam off their experience and skills so it is important to see which writers mirrors your thinking on writing.
