Hello! My name is Methanogen. Well not really, but that's what you'll know me as. So, why am I here? I enjoy writing and wanted to see what it's like to be part of a community that also enjoys writing. I do a fair bit of it in what spare time I have. I tend towards short stories (not that I don't like novels I just have procrastination issues) and usually, but not always, science fiction. In terms of writing, that is. In terms of reading I'm all over the place. I have participated in some online communities before, but not ones entirely dedicated to writing, so this is a bit of a new experience for me. Hopefully it goes well.

Thank you both for your welcomes. I've had a bit of fun already, just posting around a bit. I don't really have a whole lot of work to critique or anything at the moment and don't worry, I read up on the rules for that before I even posted here. I'm just getting back into the writing spirit, you know?
