I'm new to the forum world. This is my second forum I've ever signed up for, not counting that fluff known as Myspace. I started getting into a weekly writing challenge in my other forum, and wanted more. I'm hoping to find something of that sort here, so I'll have a few things a week to keep me busy to keep that insecure wall of isolation at bay. I look forward to being a part of tis community, I'm sure I'll love it with a name like writingforums.

Hello T Belladonna, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well, and be sure to read through the forum rules, too, to avoid any misunderstandings or hurt feelings. Respect for one another is our principal mandate. As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). Wow, that sounds great. I will look into the review room, it sounds like something I could really enjoy. I'm not worried about having my feelings hurt, since no one I know has an interest in reading/writing the way I do, I haven't had a good decent review/edit done since school. I'll take the positive with the negative, and hope to constantly look for ways to improve and things to motivate me. Thanks for the warm welcomes everybody!
Hey Everyone Im knew to Thought Id join. Had a friend who was in this and i thought it would be great seeing as i love writing and reading and everything. thought it would help me and all. This is my first Fourm but hey. This is cool. Im sure ill get the hang of it and all thought id say hi. Ill hopefully get some of my own stuff up soon so you can all check it out.
