A song just came on that I haven't heard for awhile. When I hear this song, it reminds me that feelings are still there somewhere; for some reason this song touches me. It places love into the theme of movies. Cinema by Benny Benassi, featuring Gary Go What are some love songs you like?
If I tried to list them all, I'd be here all day. I love all kinds of music, and there are really too many to count. Top 2 though are: Your Song by Elton John (though it came out long before I was born it has always been one of my favorite songs). and Angel by Aerosmith
see i'd have said "don' wanna miss a thing" if we were picking Aerosmith songs, although since love songs don't have to be happy "Crying" is a possibility too I also like November rain as a love song - though the Steve N seagulls cover is better than GnRin that respect
If you're going to bring up Sinatra, I have to say Come Fly With Me and Doris Day's Dream A Little Dream of Me.
I like both of those too, (though I'd pick Amazing before Cryin'), but Angel is my favorite. @The Dapper Hooligan - I think Flogging Molly is my stepdad's favorite band. It's all I ever hear in his truck.
@big soft moose (because you edited after I replied) - GnR is Sweet Child O' Mine or Don't Cry for love songs. I like November Rain, but it's not the best they have to offer in my opinion.
Dream A Little Dream of Me makes my head all light. I got one more. Marjorie Hughes and Frankie Carle, One More Tomorrow. Goodbye, knees. Hello, floor.
Hole in my soul is another one ( I love the video for that as well) ...(I can feel an evening of aerosmith coming one, I've got please don't go playing in the background at the minute)
Man's got good taste. Tonight, Tonight by the Smashing Pumpkins is another one I love, though I'm usually more of a break up song type person. You'd think that people would have had enough of silly love songs, but I look around me and I see it isn't so.
One of my favorites is Make Up Your Mind by Florence + The Machine, though I don't know that it actually qualifies as a love song.
You Belong To Me - Jason Wade Thinking Of You - Doreen Shaeffer Our Day Will Come - The Slackers Early Morning Rain - Gordon Lightfoot
Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits .... was "our song" with my first serious girl friend (ironic given the lyrics are all about him loving her and her not giving a toss ... given how that ended) "You promised me everything, you promised me thick and thin, Now you just say, "Oh Big soft moose yeah. You know, I used to have a scene with him"
"Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" by Franki Valli and the Four Seasons. "Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel. "You May Be Right" by Billy Joel. "You Make Me Smile" by Blue October. "Sound of Pulling Heaven Down" by Blue October. "Can't Help Falling in Love with You" by Elvis Presley. "Under My Skin" by Frank Sinatra. "Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words)" by Frank Sinatra. "500 Miles (I'm Gonna Be)" by The Proclaimers.
