Affinity Publisher, Designer, and Photo are 50% off at the moment and they are also offering a six month free trial. Affinity Publisher famously doesn't support epub output, but I think I see their reasoning. Epub is a simplistic format largely at the mercy of the ereader device, not the creator's intentions. Calibre, Apple Pages, Vellum, possibly MS Word, or the undisputed king of all word processors (doffing hat), Mellel, may be able to handle most of what's needed for epub, anyway. Of course, that's just personal opinion. My publishing setup is an Epson Ecotank 8550, which is cheaper per page than most laser printers. Paying homage to one of my early influences, philosopher Milton Waddams, I have a very special long reach stapler. Right there on my desk I can print 11x17, impositioned as an 8.5x11 booklet, center stapled like an old timey comic book, and there you go. Rebel underground screed of high production quality.
