I think I'd be more in favour of a general mobile version of the site, since members will undoubtedly have a wide variety of mobile devices.

It may be included in the update- I certainly hope so. I frequently use my Kindle to browse the forums, and a mobile version would make it much easier.

It is quite easy to implement a general mobile theme for the site.

VB4 also has the ability to be integrated with a proper iPhone or Android application

I use my Kindle to browse the site a lot, it formats well on it so I wouldn't personally use a mobile friendly site, but I'm sure it would be handy for a lot of users!

The Apple/Android Application costs a little more initially, but is well worth the price.

We could be charged a small price from the App Store to help cover costs, I do not think it would bother too many people.

I access the site on my Android phone. No app needed. A mobile-friendly version would be cool.

It'd be really convenient to post to the site when I was away from the computer

Sometimes i use my phone (an old crappy Nokia E51,) but, while it is alright, sometimes it is a little slow, laggy. Although, saying this, all features of the site are still available.

Closing this thread. The suggestion has been made, and Daniel will consider it. We do not need endorsements for app vendors.
