Today was a pretty awesome writing day for me. Banged out 2,500 words. I can't say I never do that, but I'm really happy with what I got down today. It was a slow-writing day. It basically took me all day to write 2,500 words. But I've got a feeling it might be some of my best work. Everything I wrote yesterday is completely useless to me. I feel much better about today's efforts. So, how many words did you write today? Are you happy with them? Do you maintain a consistent word count?
No. And none so far today, but technically I still have 5 hrs and 1 minute left to change that. It is all made up as I go, and even pounding a page or two is considered monumental. And that could take all day to pound out that little bit. (So much easier to write a research paper than it is to constantly struggle to come up with each new part.) But for you: 2.5k today, tomorrow the world.
I make everything up as I go as well. You can imagine then how painful today was. Literally, my back and shoulders hurt. I've almost polished off a bottle of wine. I think I just might finish it.
Brutal on both accounts. Should get up every now and then even if you wander aimlessly, no point in confining yourself to a chair for quite so long. (Be kind to your liver too, I think it might be important. Otherwise what is the Live part meant to mean?) Kudos fellow panster +15 points.
I wrote a short story a bit ago called "The Cold Ones." Pretty much rewrote the whole thing, though I kept the core basics. Over 1k. I'm very happy with what I wrote today. It gave me a very unique idea for a series. I have two different series I'm working on, now three, but I'm very happy to add it to my WIP. I actually feel that I should give it top priority. I'm more passionate about the subject and it'll help me develop more as a writer. Very happy about today. Currently world building and it's turning out great. Also, tweaking out on caffeine currently. See how I feel later.
