I have my manuscript written, but my blurb is... meh to say the least; I threw it together just to have one really. I haven't submitted any content for publication yet. This is my first time attempting to find a publisher. Are there guides or so on about the publication process, in terms of creating the blurb? I know this is how I'll "sell" the idea to an agent etc., so obviously I'd like to set this up well. I'm in the process of signing up for QueryTracker and Duotrope at the moment, but they seem to be more geared towards contacting agents (which I'll obviously be getting into).
