A new character in developing is half human, half slime monster. He looks like a normal human, albeit with naturally green hair and slightly discolored skin, but has the power to transform his body into slime. This takes effort, though, so he can only do it for a certain amount of time. What are some powers and abilities you think he could have? Here's what I already know about him: - in human form, his bones are more flexible than a normal person's, making him more agile and dexterous. - he is highly resistant to physical attacks in slime form, with the tradeoff of becoming more susceptible to magic. - damage he takes in slime form can be healed almost instantly simply by reforming the part of him that was struck. Damage he takes in human form can't be healed that way. - he can heal physical damage to his human form by digesting food in slime form. Living things heal him more than dead things since he literally absorbs their life force. However, he tries to only do that to plants, though he'll also eat live animals in extreme situations. He NEVER does this to people. - he has shapeshifting abilities in slime form, able to reshape his body into any form he has enough slime to create. This is difficult, like flexing a muscle, so he can't do it for very long. Any changes immediately revert when he turns human again. - he is NOT acidic, though people spread rumors that he is. However, his slime can be poisonous if consumed...so don't eat him. - he has stretchy limbs in slime form, and can temporarily harden himself. This is especially useful when turning parts of his body into weapons. - maybe later in the story he'll be able to split himself apart. Control parts of himself that aren't connected to the rest of his body. I don't know yet.
He could do that in slime form, but if they're still there when he turns human it'll seriously mess up his insides. And he can't stay in slime form long enough for that to be worth it.
