So apparently Nasa just walked in yesterday and decided to change the Zodiacs. I'm no longer a Gemini and now a Taurus apparently. Spoiler: .....
I'm apparently Taurus now, before I was Gemini. Meh, I don't really care. Funny though, I have this mosaic of a winged bull with a beard in my kitchen. Must be a sign.
Wow....what superpower(s) do I get with my new identity? So excited to find out! Will I fly? Turn invisible? Teleport? Spit out $100 dollar bills when talk?- sorry, gross I know but run with it! (I could have said, "poop out"....)
NASA introducing the 13th sign of the Zodiac during a year of pandemic, flames and unrest. It's serpent-related. Nice.
About time Ophiuchus got recognized. Though I wonder whether the changes will actually be recognized by any practicing astrologist. My guess is that its unlikely.
Wasn't this around for like decades...? Astrologers might recognise this but they don't swap the birth zodiac cycles. Their whole system is built upon ancient observations so why should they swap them now?
Apparently the system we have been using was the Babylonian model which ignored the 13th sign because they wanted a nice even 12. Or something like that. Something to do with it being 2020 as well.... I've honestly no idea, I still haven't forgiven them for demoting Pluto.
I heard about the 13th sign a loooooong time ago, and thought it was bogus. I guess it's not, but Imma use my cognitive dissonance to say I'm a Gemini no matter what they say. (Said the stubborn Taurus...)
Ditto. Set no store by horoscopes and such but I've spent my whole life telling those who would enquire that I was a Gemini. It's bad enough coming from NI and feeling not really British and not really Irish, and now this?! Who am I?! I feel a minor identity crisis coming on...
I remember this same story from when I was in highschool. No one chose to change to the "new" way back then, don't think they will now. Apparently I've been promoted from cancer to Gemini but I like crabs. Sort of want a blue crab watercolor tattoo since I grew up in a beach city.
I remember hearing about how the "new" zodiacs don't really count because of something or other. Been a while, though. I haven't cared about zodiacs since I watched that one episode of Project Runway where they did outfits based on zodiac. It was a fun episode.
I bear good tidings, so ya'll can stop worrying about it. https://www.sciencealert.com/stop-freaking-out-nasa-did-not-just-change-your-zodiac-sign
Old Zodiac, New Zodiac, it doesn't matter to me. According to both; I am and always will be a lion. Rrawwrrrr!!!
Have to admit, the Taurus profile suits me better. Gemini just didn't fit right although I enjoyed it.
I've been a Taurus all my life and I'm not about to change now!!! (Not that I'd need to, because according to NASA I'm still a Taurus.)
