5500 African children under the age of 5 die every day in Africa

Hey guys, how many children do you think somebody could save with 47 billion dollars? and what would they need? other than food, clothes, and shelter. How much would all that cost for each child?

The issues are peace and infrastructure. Yeah, food and clothing are needed, but it does no good to get food for a year if the neighborhood gets blown up or there aren't any roads to ship supplies in.

Honestly, your best option is probably doing things like a) supporting non-corrupt politicians, b) donating to Heifer International, c) starting schools, d) funding hospitals, e) building roads / telephone lines / cell phone towers and f) funding scholarships so good students can go overseas for engineering degrees and then return home to help their countryfolk.
