    Colour Imagery

    Discussion in 'Word games' started by Torana, Jul 11, 2007.

    Ok well just another imagery excercise for those who are interested in it.

    Basically all you do is pick any colour at all. There are a substantial number of colours to choose from.

    eg: Red, Blue, Green, Gold, Silver, Violet, Brown....etc....

    All you do is pick a colour and write what it means to you. Do 1 to as many lines as you like.
    Youcan write an emotion that you get off the colour or an image. Whatever you like at all.

    Well hope you have fun with this.

    Violet, regal in it's presence - possessing both a fiery personality, and a cool demeanor. Left with only a whimsical wisp of lavender, the senses become tantalized. Extending beyond the body's restrictions to reach the aroma.

    Green - the unexplained. The colour of alien life and all of nature, of a sorcerer's cape and of certain seas. The feeling of toxic beauty and a depth in meaning. Green to be believed has to be seen.

    Mysterious purple,
    deep, dark, fiery midnight occult
    aloof in its enigmas
    cold mingled with heat
    color of creeping shade.

    This is all an illusion;
    A rainbow stretched out before me
    Falls and shatters with the dying light
    The beauty the colours so frail:
    The beauty in disecting something whole
    Into something that is nothing:
    Heinous.

    grey drifts down in flakes,
    with anonymous stealth
    silent assassin of color and contrast

    Brightness of a ballerina
    prancing across the stage.
    Dullness of the skin
    upon a new born babe.
    Pretty little school girls
    and the silly little games.
    The colour of cuteness
    and the shame upon a face.

    Searing like the hottest star
    Or cold as ancient ice
    Edge of legendary blade
    Or eyes with heartless gaze
    Never soft, never warm
    Blue-white stands aloof

    A hole in the night
    devours all light.
    Absent all color
    black, pure as white

    Hell hath no fury in comparison...

    to the crimson rivers rushing as we run hand-in-hand;

    to the scarlet pooling in my face
    as we kiss under the dying sun;

    to the rose petals that cover our bed,
    and the vermilion passion that will unfurl underneath.

    The velvet sky, embroidered with gold. The wide darkness, covering the world. A mystery, an undiscovered reason. Wilting petals, crying heart.

    Red screaming acusiation
    smeared at the fingers of the crazy
    un bashfully criminal
    with cut throat contempt
    insanity and cruelty
    crooked and bent
    shade of the mascist
    with hands that shan't relent
