    What software do you use?

Discussion in 'Writing Software and Hardware' started by Manofkent, Sep 2, 2010.

I have a power structure demo and like the way it helps me visualize the plot and has some helpful tools.

However I much prefer office word 2010 as a word processor. But again, I only have the 60day trial.

Before I settle in to a legitimate (or non-legitimate) copy of word, I wanted to know what else was out there and available to me.
Are there any other programs specifically designed for writers?

I don't want to use dramatica, or power structure for writing the bulk of my story but only to help with the notes.

Just use Word. You don't need "writing software". Tolstoy wrote War And Peace with pen and paper.

Bang on minstrel. I use Word as well. I have no idea why writers need to use all kinds of "writing software" that makes stuff even more complicated.
