G’day everyone, I felt the need to introduce myself here. So I’ve type the magic words of ‘the end’ on my current WIP. It’s been six years, and countless workshops so I’m familiar with the hard work, and politics of the writing world. I’m here to expand my circle, grit a little bit, learn a few things. I’m a wee way from needing Beta readers, as my WIP needs some deep editing first, but eventually I’ll be needing some brave volunteers. I’m looking forward to meeting y’all.
I’m still working on my elevator pitch. When Asadel’s lover Tegwin is gambled away by her father, he must choose between religious devotion, and facing prejudice, or family duty and the threat of death. A dark Romeo and Juliet retelling in a fantastical Regency world.
Don't worry about posting in the "wrong" place; the modding is pretty relaxed here. We have loads of fantasy writers and readers so I'm sure you can find beta readers when the time comes.
