Destroying Real Cities?

I am under the assumption there is no law against say, having your character get so enraged, they become a fiery dragon and completely obliterate Time Square at midnight on New Years Eve, would it? Or is there something a city official could come after me for?

You can, but you have to remember the rule: 9/11 ruined everything.

Does this mean people would be automatically offended? No. It's not offensive in any way. You might get people who are looking to be offended. But you could depict a sock hanging out the window and someone will be offended.

From a story telling perspective, destroying something and killing hundreds of people... well, you're going to have an uphill battle to make that character actually likable. Maybe sympathetic if you play your cards right, but people won't look at that character as the hero.

Literall could have time travelers go back in time to tell adolf hitler(before he was anybody special) that jews would monopolize the bulk of the planets resources and enslave humanity unless he rises up and eliminates names on a list to prevent the future from happening. I figured I was safe, it's just that people are capable of practically anything nowadays so I figured it would be best just to ask.

 

I'm totally intrigued by this concept that is the epithany of offensive and disgusting. Probably would never be published for it's profound antisemitism (you are kinda justifying the holocaust) but it would make for a great rick and morty episode, that's for sure.

I have a detailed scene for the complete city by city destruction of world civilization. It's pretty much lather-rinse-repeat. The first city is the luckiest, in the grand scheme.

 

In the anime Gundam, they blew up Sydney by dropping a space colony on it.

No one missed it.
