I just looked up the definition of a word I saw in a novel that I thought was misused (it was). I checked three different on-line dictionaries. When I got to The Free Dictionary, I found this link: https://www.thefreedictionary.com/The-Farlex-Grammar-Book.htm Has anyone used this resource? If so, is the information accurate and correct?
Or use words creatively to cover their weaknesses... Sorry Sapere, I've personally never run across that resource before, but thanks for letting us know about it.
I just checked it on Amazon, the comments will often give a good idea how good something is. I see it's one of a 3-book series, the others being about spelling and punctuation. Sounds like it's written in a very small font size, which could be an issue, and also isn't very well organized. But check the comments yourself, some may stand out to you that I skipped over. Keep in mind a lot of people are just happy because it arrived on time, and they haven't actually tried to use it yet.
