I've added comments here and there in my WIP for things I need to go back and revisit (to make sure I address them specifically when editing). Now, Scrivener shows all the comments for the selected document in the inspector, but this means I have to flick through the documents to check which ones have comments. Is there a way of showing all comments for every document in the project? Or searching for comments somehow? (Hope you don't mind, but I'm tagging @Wreybies as I know you're a bit of a Scrivener guru!)
I appreciate the laud, but if Scrivener were a car, I would be but a shade-tree mechanic. I know a thing or two, but... you know. I don't use comments at all in Scrivener, so I don't really know. Hopefully one of the other aficionados in the forum will have better info.
The forum on Literature and latte is the place for scrivener questions - what with it being the scriveners developers site... it isn't anywhere as active as WF but you can find out most things from existing threads
Also, if you Facebook, come join us in this group. Like most Facebook groups, one's experience is significantly improved by simply asking and/or answering questions and avoiding the subsequent chat. https://www.facebook.com/groups/463927253627424/
Thanks guys! I'll check those other forums out and see if there are answers there, and if not I'll post there
I have posted on the Facebook group. Hopefully somebody there will know the answer. If not, I'll register and post on the L&L forum.
Just in case anybody else wants to use this feature, I'll post the solution. Somebody on the Scrivener Facebook group posted it. 1. Choose either a folder, or the Draft heading. 2. Change the view to Scrivenings 3. The inspector will now show the comments on all of the documents in the folder.
