Her name is Thally, she is quiet and reserved but has some steel hidden away. She is on a spaceship with a limited crew, and is rather fluid in terms of her sexuality, but also rather inexperienced. Anyway, here are her choices:- 1) Dave enjoys cross-dressing and has a penchant for wearing pony-tails. 2) Sarah likes to be in control- she would not call herself a control-freak- but Dave would. 3) Barry is a worm who has undergone countless experiments in the worm tank, and as a result has grown the face of a human.
Based on this limited information—I have absolutely no idea You could add the inanimate lamppost on the corner of 1st & Bianca Ave, and Julie the humanoid interface projection of Thally's own subconscious, and those would seem as equally valid as the candidates you've listed I think character dynamics and plot relevance might be required for better understanding & suggestions
Might as well make things more interesting by choosing the least likely to have any real physical relation to them. Unless Thally is a dominatrix that likes crossdressing guys to whip around the ship. So how exactly will Barry and Thally interact/communicate? You haven't established that part, or clarified it.
It seems Barry is winning, which doesn't surprise me. Nice guys finish last. Guys who are 99% dicks finish first. I need to know a bit more about him, though. In addition to having grown a human face, does he have any other human head parts, like can he talk or hear anything? What could draw Thally to him, apart from his physical qualities?
I will just assume a human face comes standard with vocal cords and a functional understanding of language. No explanation is going to really save face after that simplistic answer, so why not.
It's a very attractive human face, which is complimented by his worminess. He has an ear, but no vocal chords, but the communication issue is overcome by a printed alphabet that he can point at with his worm parts, much like Stephen Hawking.
Fools! Barry is the obvious choice, for he is clearly a reincarnated Leto Atreides II, the God-Emperor. A girl could do no better than an omniscient bender of space and time and reality and truth.
Why are we even having this discussion? Isn't Barry the obvious choice? Even though their relationship might be a little different than others, I think Thally and Barry could be happy together.
You really can't tell from this. I'd want to know more about how Thally interacts with each of them, rather than who they are.
