Quick question about Scrivener. Everything is fine when I start typing, but once I've filled the page up and keep going, I find that I'm continuously typing down at the bottom of the screen. It's a little annoying and not very good for posture to be constantly looking at the bottom of the screen to see what I'm typing. Is there anyway to set it so that my cursor and whatever I am presently writing is in the middle of the page/screen?
It's called "Typewriter Scrolling". On the Mac version of Scrivener 3, you can turn it on and off at "View":"Text Editing":"Typewriter Scrolling" or with Ctrl-Command-T. It can also be fine-tuned in the Preferences:Editing to move the editing line up or down. Sorry, I do not know how it works in other versions. I kinda have a dark remembrance that in Scrivener 2 it was only there in the full-screen, distraction-free, Composition Mode, but I could be totally wrong about that.
OK cool, I'll give the typewriter thing a try. I've noticed it but I'm always shy about clicking things that I'm not sure what they do. Thanks!
