Good afternoon from sunny Arizona! I always find these intros to be a bit awkward, as I don't know what to include. I'm working on my debut crime/romance novel and am just about ready to send it to an editor friend of mine. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can in an active setting. Sometimes those great blogs I'm always reading aren't enough. I'm also a developmental editor. I'm here to help in any way I can. If you can learn one thing from me, I've done my job Sometimes it's hard to get feedback from writers as an editor, and I hope to gain some insight as to what it's like to be on the other end. So the big question now is, do I end in a typical valediction or just cut to black?
Always cut to black, haha. Welcome to the forum! I'm in Arizona, too. There're a couple of us here. It's good to have you on board!
Welcome, Soapbox! Hope you enjoy your stay here, so far it's a lovely place for writing! I hope to learn much from you and vise versa
Welcome. Start a journal, do some crits, workshop your writing and receive feedback. Good luck. -OJB.
Theres a lot of you from Arizona? I read something once, where aliens infiltrated every business, club, school, office, etc, etc. Then one day they all struck and BAM everything was taken down in one fell swoop. Was that an admission of guilt to being one of the aliens on WF? One of the aliens planned to bring this site down?
Nah, the aliens are in New Mexico. It's us New Mexicans you should be worried about. (Welcome to the site, by the way! Nice to meet you! )
Greetings, welcome, and salutations sirette. It may be sunny, but it is windy in the north east part. (Snow on cactus is still weird.) Good luck with your works and C-ya around the forum.
Thanks for the greetings everyone! And hey, even if we Arizonans were to infiltrate, we wouldn't admit to it And yes, very windy in the north east, but been pretty mild this year. You're not from around here are you Cave Troll?
