    Hello from (snowy) Texas!

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by TBWright, Feb 19, 2021.

Hey there! My name's Taylor. It's been great finding this place and poking around a bit.
I've been writing for a few decades now but only started taking it seriously a few years ago. During the day I'm a technical artist in the video game and a dog dad.
I look forward to engaging with this community!

Welcome! I'm sure you'll have lots to write about as a result of the very weird weather you're having at the moment.

In ten years of living here I have never heard someone talk like that >.< I'm always on the lookout though, they have to exist!

I had a charged battery pack and a laptop so I actually got a few chapters revised! In between freezing from no electricity and worrying about burst pipes in the walls. So I guess that's a silver lining? It was definitely intense though. I grew up in the US Midwest so I'm used to the weather, but nothing down here in Texas is built for it. Many had it way worse than I.

Huh. I heard a lot of talk like that when I was there, but that was in the early 70's. And there was no snow. I suppose things have changed.
