I write fantasy, science fiction and supernatural fiction. I've got two works self-published on Amazon. I've only sold 3 copies of one, and 1 copy of the other. LGBT representation in my stories is very important to me. I'm a lesbian leaning bisexual trans woman, so it's inevitable I'm going to want to include those kinds of characters and situations. I've been writing since I was a teenager. But I think it's only my recent work that's any good. I like to write secondary world fantasy (wizards, dragons etc) and also contemporary fantasy (including fairies, ghosts, shapeshifters etc). I try to write science fiction sometimes, and when I do it is more character and plot driven but I do still try to make the science plausible. I studied philosophy and history at Uni, and I'm also very interested in astronomy and biology, so this does inform my work. I was raised Christian but I'm a pagan now (I especially honour the Greek gods), and I've also been influenced by both Hinduism and Buddhism. This also influences my writing, as I'm quite prone to exploring spiritual ideas in my work too.
Greetings Kim. Not really interested in your orientation. If I was female, I'd be a lesbian too, but as it is the discriminating bastards won't let me do it. The real question is "Can you write?"
Hello, Kim, and welcome. Those are interesting genres you work in, and interesting influences as well.
