Hi Everyone My name is Gillian, I reside in Cape Town, South Africa. I am new to writing on a forum and not entirely sure how to go about this, however I will try and give it a shot. I enjoy writing, however I have found that I prefer writing about life and my experience, I am not entirely sure whether this is the platform for me, Never the less I am here. I am looking for a space to write freely and perhaps receive some advice. My thoughts are always going at full speed and its easier for me to jot them down. I would like to believe that should I wish to write something fictional, I would prefer Horror and thrillers however from the work I have done thus far, most of them contain feelings, emotions. We are in the heart of winter in Cape Town, and this is probably one of the coldest ones I have experienced. I do hope this is a place for me.
Well, this place is for writers who want to write anything at any level, so it might suit you well. I've met a couple of people from South Africa in my time (oddly both of them were also from Cape Town) and they certainly had a lot of unusual stories to tell about their experiences. So if writing about your experiences and how they make you feel are what you love doing the most, go for it! There's an audience for everything. So welcome to the forums, Gillian!
