Hey all, I’m Dan. Though I would love to get published one day, that’s not why I’m here. I’m here because I love to write cheesy romance stories, novels, series. One story can go on forever if I’m not careful. Every relationship has its ups and downs after all so why not write about them all. I’m kidding every story has to end eventually, even if it’s with them dying in each other’s arms at the ripe old age of 95. Yes I’ve done that. I don’t know how much of what I write will be shared. My struggles will be. My questions will hopefully spark discussions. My answers will hopefully help the querier. We’ll see about that last one. Welcome! It’s a great blend here of easy going and serious resources. The search bar has been my friend in the last few months when I wasn’t sure what was available. I had a character in a D&D campaign that was very serious face and on a whim, I decided that he’d spend his spare time writing cheesy romance novels under a pseudonym (Madame Myriam Bouffant) and I had the absolute best time writing her stuff and sharing it with the group. Hello, Dan. Cheesy romance isn't really my area (sorry), but I can see why it has its appeal. As for me, it reminds me too much of Mills & Boon and its cheesecake covers - pirates who inexplicably lose their shirts and women whose shirts inexplicably get torn. Um.
