    I'm a Gibson Guy...

I'm a Gibson Guy who has a Fender.

My favourite guitar is my 2005 Gibson R7, gold top/dark back.

This was me last night playing Jimi Hendrix.

My first Gibson, my 1996 Gibson Custom Shop Red Sparkle Top Les Paul I got in March 2011.
My personally sought/coveted Gibson, my 2005 Gibson VOS R7 Gold Top/Dark Back I got last year November.

(I took my years of guitar designing to have myself my dream guitar over a course 18 hours of running around and knowing what I needed/and where to go, last year November). - I cloned this above guitar out of a Gibson R7 VOS.
It looked like this when I bought it only it never had its scratch plate on/it's in its guitar case.
It was hanging next to another more common/less desired by me gold top/bright back.
As soon as I saw this guitar there with it's gold top/dark back in budget, I knew I wanted to try it; within 5 minutes of playing, I bought it.
Both of my Gibsons were love at first play.

I've played nice/high end Gibsons I liked, wanted to love, but didn't.
My Gibsons, however, for Gibson money as well, were love at first play (it's why I have them).

My 1999/2000 American Fender Deluxe Stratocaster Teal Ash Body/Maple Neck
(My favourite finish of this guitar, also one that's hard to find, this was the first one I found in 15 years, and I jumped on it/pulled the trigger because of it's hard to find finish I was personally seeking).
I got this guitar September 2016.

And I've got a bunch of other cool guitars that I've customised/modded/redesigned.

I also have vintage acoustic guitars, parlour/parlor guitars and one 12 string.

My Early 1950's Italian Catania Carmello parlour guitar.
My 1969 Harmony by Stella H913 12 string acoutstic.
My 1951 Harmony by Stella H929 parlor guitar.

I got these acoustics earlier this year / 2018.

I make most of my own guitars, so brand names aren't a factor.

My favorite jamming guitar is an OM with a cedar top. But my favorite guitar for traveling is a parlor-size 12-fret.

When the jams are at my house, I'll also bring out a Yamaha 12-string for anybody who wants to play it.

I have an acoustic 6-string el cheapo POS that frustrates me no end 'cause it has no balls.

I have my main guitar, a 12-string Yamaha acoustic I've owned since 1977 and which has a special place in my heart. I play a lot of folk and folk-rock, and a 12-string is the ideal instrument to accompany vocals. Mine needs replacing. I want to get a luthier to make me a custom 12-string that properly fits my rather small hands.

Lastly, I have my trusty Fender Stratocaster, 1990-ish, stock. I use it mainly for pretending I'm Mark Knopfler.

My father had a nylon-string guitar for some perplexing reason - he was a violinist and couldn't play guitar to save his life. When he died, my uncle claimed it. My uncle is now old and doesn't play it much, so I've placed a request through family channels to acquire it.

Loved this heavy alder body piece of Indonesian driftwood. :p
Lost the neck humbucker when it randomly failed, but at least
it took the heavy strings 74-15 pretty well, so long as I didn't tune
it lower than B flat. :p

What can I say about this sexy sleek machine, it had the best and
smoothest action I have ever played. Had it cherried out with Ernie
Ball Skinny Tops Heavy Bottoms 52-10 and possibly Power Slinkies
    once or twice 48-9. :p
I would recommend this for anybody who is looking for a full scale
neck (24 frets) and wants to either play fast, or has small hands. :)
