    Hello, Everyone

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Imaginary Worlds, Feb 7, 2022.

Hi there. I'm new to the forum, and newish to the writing profession. About five years ago, I tried writing and self-publishing erotica on Amazon and made a few bucks, but nothing significant, and burnt out pretty hard. Since then, I haven't really finished anything significant, other than a few short stories that I've entered into contests and then lost.

I'm hoping to get things back together and start writing in a serious way, again. I'm also working on narrating audio books, and started a Twitch channel where I'm reading material, mostly from Project Gutenberg, as a way to build up the narrating skill. Practice making perfect, and suchlike.

Hey, welcome! I worked on my voice a while back, and one piece of advice I ran across is to sing a lot to improve your speaking voice and confidence. You can do it in the car, along with the radio as you drive.

    That's a good suggestion. I hadn't thought of it.

    Thanks.
