Hello the community! Im a French expatriate living in China and looking forward to improving my writing skills, which are pretty much non-existent at the moment! It might just be the right time to learn and practice some wordsmithing!
Welcome! I take it you are humble? Non-existant, yet you were able to correct the grammar of another new member. Will you be writing in English? What's your favorite genres?
I'll be writing in English yes, as the forum seems to be in that language. Well, corrected a little grammar mistake. Gotta admit that I know that member as she is my daughter, and homeschooling her is one reason why I would like to practice my writing some more. Non-existent mostly as I don't know how to write an interesting story, characters, how to structure it all, how to write clear sentences... I enjoy Science-fiction and fantasy, and post-apocalyptic and dystopian/utopian settings interest me wildly.
I see. Storytelling will come to you with practice. Read and write a lot. If you ever post a science fiction story here, I'd love to take a look. Just remember, there is a two for one rule if you post it in the workshop. Meaning you have to give two critiques of other peoples stories before you can post your own. Hope you get what you need to improve!
