Hi Thanks for falling for my click-bait title (muahahaha). My name is Mickaela. I'm a...novice writer, at best. A writer-wannabe, at worst. I don't write...I try. I enjoy writing, ahem, trying. Since a young age, I've been a ravenous reader with her own stories floating around in her head. I often grew inspired by not only books but video games, cartoons, movies and so on. At first, I used to imagine 'what ifs'. What if this character did this, or this event happened? When I started highschool, and other students began writing stories and fan fiction, I grew even more interested in writing. Now, at 17, I love writing more than ever. I love poetry and prose, and I am constantly seeking to improve my mini talent and maybe become an accomplished author one day. This is the reason why I joined this forum. I'm ready for others to read my works and ruin my self esteem with blunt criticisms. I also want to help my fellow writers in any way I can so that we can all improve and sell our bestsellers one day. I'm looking forward to being a part of a warm, helpful and honest community. Some random trivia about me: I'm born and bred in the Caribbean. I'd tell the exact island, but I'm not a fan of people knowing my location My favourite books have a healthy dose of romance in them . In fact, my favourite novel is romance: Eleanor and Park by the lovely Rainbow Rowell. My favourite colours are warm yet soothing, like beige and gold. But I also love blues and greens. I enjoy drawing, music, singing and learning new things. I actually don't have a school subject I hate, even if I fail that subject. I want to be a creative writing graphic designer when I'm older. I am a Christian, and I try to love God and others in all that I do. My personality type is INFP-T I want to be an anime addict, but I just can't find all the time.
