I like to read and write all kinds of fiction, but right now I’m working on a historical fiction story that’s based on a legend. It’s like the untold story of what came after the legend. What about you?!
That sounds interesting. For nonfiction, I write mostly biology and needlework articles. For fiction, I've written mostly historical, fantasy, and upmarket. The novel I recently finished is southern with overtones of magical realism. I'm working on query letters and synopses as I wait for feedback from my last two beta readers. Would sure be easier if I could write one of each and be done with it- not my favorite task.

Thanks! It's early 13th century England. The story picks up when King Henry III takes control from the regency in 1227.
Not professional in the sense that I make my full living by writing. I have a couple of day jobs, too, though both include a fair amount of writing. The novel is set in southwestern Arkansas near the Great Bend of Red River. I'd be very interested in reading about Henry III. English history fascinates me.
