Hello, I have been writing since 1994 and have compiled my first book and copyrighted it. I would love to get it out there. The Title: Killing Mr. Indiscriminate B. Cancer - a collection of my poetry. I have been challenged by a friend to write daily, and yes participate in this forum. Apparently, I can write but grammar - well not happening. So unless you want to be the first person to end my confusion on grammar don't even bother telling me what if I missed a period or should have a comma. Sorry, but grammar has proven itself to me to be something each and every person understands differently. Each person will edit the same document differently... I would love to share some of my writing and improve. I write simply and with a punch. I have attempted to write fiction but at the moment I think I must stay with the "simplicity" of poetry.
Welcome. In that case, get your 20 posts, wait your 2 weeks, and critique two people's poem (which you can do today), and you'll be able to post your work and receive feedback. Also, a minor gift: https://www.writingforums.org/entry/orys-writing-notes-introduction-and-thoughts-on-style.63609/ Most of the Blog series is on poetry-related subjects. Good luck, -OJB
Welcome! I love poetry, and I'm looking forward to your posts. Grammar can be a real problem, but I'm sure you'll overcome it.
