Hello everyone, aside from the fact that I posted "who am I" in the wrong thread to begin with here's my intro: I'm female, 53, from Germany, and I almost only write in English. It's not my native tongue, but it gives me more expressive freedom that German. Weird? Yeah, maybe, I don't know I started writing in 2012 as a distraction from a piece of sh... that had taken hold in my body. The first piece was about the Twilight books/movies. Next was about the TV series Vampire Diaries. After that I took to Sherlock (BBC). I also did a few short ones on Mortal Instruments, Highlander (TV series), Arrow (TV series), Lucifer (TV series). Some stories are finished, some are on hold because I got stuck. But I'm not ready yet to admit defeat. Currently I'm trying to catch my irrational thoughts about an idea regarding a character from the Hobbit universe. It's tougher than anything I've tried before but Tolkien IS a damn complicated universe. Until next time!
Hey rookie! Somewhere back in my lineage I have a lot of German ancestors. And I hardly sprechenzie any Deutsch. In fact I probably spelled that completely wrong. And I love Tolkien! It's near to the level of Moby Dick in my heart, and that's my favorite. How long have you been speaking/writing in English? You seem like a natural with it.
