I remember sitting in school twenty years ago, and having the dreadful yearbook passed on to me. I've written all my life. Love to write. I was in a hospital once, borrowed a laptop, and wrote for nearly five hours straight. Hospitals are boring. But there I was, sitting with a yearbook in front of me, and all I had to do was write a little greeting. That's it. A couple of lines. How hard can it be? It's terrible. That's why I don't do the whole Christmas card thing. I can't do it. Stories, that I can do. Books? No problem! A few lines of greetings? No. Just... no. It either comes off as a stupid, generic cliché, or I ramble on and on. So yeah, hi. I'm Erica. Pleased to meet you. (Phew, done!)
Nice intro. Please to meet you too. Welcome to the forum. Hope you can get some inspiration here. Cheers
Hi @LadyErica, and welcome from me. I am exactly the same - two novels finished and three half finished, can't write a ******* birthday card to save my life.
