My longest story is 68000 Words, most are less than that, though. Is there a board for stories beyind short story length on this forum? I put much emphasis on developing my main characters and the world they act in.
I would say that makes it a novel. Short stories are usually under 10,000 words. We do have a workshop, where you can post your stories for feedback. Maximum length to post is 5000 words. Welcome to the forum! It really depends why you want to post your story. If it's to find an audience for them, a writing forum (whether this one or any other) isn't really the right place for that. If you're looking for help in writing or developing stories and your skills, this is absolutely the place for it! At 68,000 words, that's novel-length, and a forum isn't really the place for that.
